I wish I could give Volunteer State Builders 100 stars. I've worked with contractors and builders before and have never had an experience as pleasant and efficient as working with TJ and Taylor. They are both skilled, thoughtful, and diligent, and made sure both the big and little things went right. One of the ways they impressed far beyond my past experiences was their response to my questions or when I asked for some modification of the work that had been done. Previously, I've had contractors clamp down and get really defensive and insinuate that the work is fine and my expectations are the problem. Not TJ and Taylor. They listened, they problem solved, and they resolved any small issues that arose. On top of them both being excellent at their jobs, they're really great people and I always looked forward to when they would stop by. I would 100% absolutely work with them in the future and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who needs any work done. TJ was an amazing contractor to work with. We had our kitchen remodeled and he lead the charge with constant communication. He listened to our wants and gave us options that would fit our budget as well as our aesthetic hopes. We had some set backs because of various schedules, but he had our full confidence throughout the process. The subcontractors he works with are incredibly skilled.
